This project came about because honestly, I was tired of not releasing music. My plan was to release my next album, but me being me, it's taking way to long to finish the rollout and everything that it involves. So, I decided hey I have a lotttt of music not going on any projects, why don't I just release those in the meantime? And, that's exactly what this project is. I selected about 8 songs from the shelf that I thought would make a cohesive sounding project that stuck to a similar narrative. These songs aren't throwaways tho. In fact, this might be peoples favorite collection of songs from me. The only reason these songs have been shelved in the past is; they did not fit onto the albums that I was working on at the time that they were made. I stand by all of these songs. The title of this project was originally the title of the intro song. I thought it fit the feeling of the project much better over all. When I listen to these songs, and envision what they look like, to me they look and feel like a sunset. I hope you enjoy, and can soak up the last of the summer sun with this project.

 

(Also I know the runtime of this project is not really considered an EP, but I'm not considering it to be apart of my current album run, so.. it's an EP to me!)
